1. Space X Astronauts return to earth. The miracle of space travel occurred again this week. We sent some astronauts up just a couple of months ago and now they are back. What a thrill to know it is possible and seeing them arrive back safely is worth applauding.
2. Limbitless Solutions. This is the coolest thing I’ve heard about in a LONG time. It is a non-profit organization that provides robotic type 3-D printed prosthetics for kids. It is truly amazing.
3. $35 MILLION in aid given to human trafficking survivors. President Trump’s administration approved to provide $35 million dollars in aide to human trafficking survivors. I am so grateful that our country is getting involved in this and I pray it goes a long way in helping these victims re-build their lives.
4. A Movie Theater has re-opened. Last week a good friend of mine posted on social media that she and her family were at a movie theater. Wha?!! None of us could believe it. It turns out one of our theaters–Cinemark Tinseltown— is re-showing a lot of old favorites from Star Wars to Jurassic Park, Goonies to Back to the Future, and many, many others. You have to buy seats ahead of time—and it’s VERY limited. But, this is HUGE. Movie popcorn IN a movie theater watching a movie! Come on now–this is gigantic sign of hope. It won’t be long folks. It won’t be long.
5. A Smart Mask. This story is so intriguing to me. Apparently a Japanese robotics company has developed a smart mask that can amplify voices, transcribe dictation AND translate speech into 8 different languages. My jaw is dropping. Now–if they make them easy to breath in too–I’m sold.
