1. Even More Summer Fun. This week, we rode bikes to another of our favorite neighborhood parks. It was kind of hot, so we decided to go explore the nearby creek and found a makeshift rope swing. What a blast!
We also enjoyed some great fun in our pool complete with an epic water gun fight. It was glorious!
And ended our week going to one of the boys all time favorite places to go–Dart Wars. They would live here 24/7 if allowed.
2. A sad good-bye. Not all in life is about fun and games or projects and things to do–sometimes we have to face the sad in life too. We have so many friends that have lost loved ones this year including our dear friends Sherri and Art–they’re the ones that own The Chicken Coop where SofaKillers play gigs quite often. Their beautiful daughter Nicole passed away early this year leaving them and her 13 year old son Noah without her. They had a celebration of her life gathering out in Black Forest this past week. It was absolutely wonderful how many folks came out to celebrate her–she is dearly missed.
3. Gig Night. SofaKillers played at The Chicken Coop this week. I didn’t get to go, but it looked like epic fun! (Video by Tim Glenn)
