1. Ladies Night. My friend Patti hosted another lovely ladies night–this time at Single Barrel I always enjoy these gatherings–not only do we go to a lot of places I’ve never been, but it’s just fun to get out, meet some new friends, and catch up with some old ones.
2. Friend Lunch. For several years now, Tiffany, Sandy and I (and whatever other neighborhood Momma’s are available) get together for lunch to celebrate our kids being back at school. I love that these fellow Mommas are there to listen and commiserate with all the ups and downs of parenting. Plus, we love each other’s kids as if they were our own. Cheers to another school year beginning! May the odds be ever in their favor.
3. Gig Night. It’s a double gig weekend at Tailgate Tavern for SofaKillers. This is their second time to play here and it sounds like it was a great time–I’m sorry to have missed it.
