1.Guys Only Getaway. This past week was fall break for my boys. Super Rockstar had been wanting to do a guys only getaway for a while and this was the ideal time to do it. They rented a cabin at a campground where Super Rockstar presented the boys with their first pocket knives and then they spent the next two days–boys only. He took them fishing and then taught them how to clean and cook a fish. They whittled sticks with their new knives. They shot at targets with their bb guns. But, most importantly, he spent time teaching them valuable life lessons and just spending precious time with our boys–who are quickly becoming men. I joined them for their last day and it was awesome. The cabin was amazing and the beautiful fall scenery–just gorgeous.
2. SofaKillers Gigs at Boot Barn Hall and Getting Open For Aaron Watson. SofaKillers got to play two gigs at Boot Barn Hall this week. On their first night they opened for country music recording artist, Aaron Watson. They gained several new fans from folks that normally only listen to true blue country music. We stuck around and listened to Aaron Watson and really enjoyed his show. And then their second night, they played for a sold out crowd of old and new SofaKillers fans.
3. What We Watched. I found a new TV show I really enjoyed, we finished our Spider-man binge, and the boys and I watched the 2016 Ghostbusters. Just click the link to read our reviews of what we watched.
