1. Party Time. Our annual Christmas open house was an absolute blast this year. We love hosting and appreciate that so many friends, neighbors, coworkers and even family show up to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with us. I seem to always get caught up in “food duty”–refilling platters, stocking drinks, etc.– to visit with as many folks as I’d like and take photos, but I love seeing everyone–especially Santa.
2. Super Rockstar’s Busy Week. Super Rockstar had a VERY busy week–he had another solo gig at Notes Bar, he got to be featured on our local Fox 21’s Loving Living Local Friday Feelz show–and performed a couple of his original songs, and then was invited to show his art at an art show at The Parkway Tavern. Whew! It all went great, but I think he’s ready for a bit of a break.
3. Christmas Break. The boys have officially started their Christmas break from school. Whereas Grayson got to do fun things like spirit week (where they have different dress up themes each day) and watch movies all day, Morgan had finals each day and was studying and cramming all week. They are both so thrilled to be done with it. I’m grateful to not have to do carpool for the rest of this year. This is them in their current state–and will be for the next 2 1/2 weeks.
