Movies:
1. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. I admit that I enjoy the Hobbit series much more than this one, but they’re all still so great. The multiple endings of the 3rd one seem to drag on and on. But after reading the book series recently, I appreciate that Peter Jackson (the director) cut short the many other ending scenes.
2. Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim: Uprising. For Morgan’s birthday weekend–he chose these as they are some of his favorites. I had forgotten how good they are. Very good action and creative story.
3. The Electric State. This is a new one starring Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown. I was a little skeptical at first but really got into the story and enjoyed the whole movie. The robots are creative and so many loveable ones. We all thought it was very entertaining.
4. Oceans Eleven, Oceans Twelve, Oceans Thirteen. When Grayson suggested these for his birthday weekend–I was excited. I LOVE these movies and never tire of watching them. They have such a great cast, and the stories are just fantastic. I’ve heard rumors that there might be a 14 someday soon.
Shows:
Elementary-Season 1 and 2. I absolutely love this re-telling of the Sherlock Holmes character. The actor that plays Sherlock is fantastic and Lucy Liu as Watson is wonderful. It’s been several years since we’ve watched them and I am enjoying it like it’s the first time. We still have 5 more seasons to enjoy (squeal of joy).
